I have a friend - no seriously it's not me - and whenever we catch up she tells me something else that she's bought or is buying.. I'd be happy for her, but she has a young family and she can't afford what she's buying. I don't mean small items, like dvds, I mean bigger items like a Plasma TV, new bedroom furniture, a new car, a new sofa... it's like she's won some money, but I know she hasn't. What can I do to help her, without upsetting her? I know her financial status and its not great, in fact I've always respected how she copes on a low income with a family, but now I'm worried.
